Calendar
Each year, our Utah Section sponsors social, charitable
and cause-related events. We invite our members to participate in events,
take part in organizing events, step up to leadership roles (membership,
correspondence, programming, hiking club, snowshoe club, ski club, board)
and suggest new activities. Click on the individual activity to learn

Passover Seder  Each
year, our local NCJW section partners with the Jewish Community Center
to enable local seniors to connect with their Jewish roots and enjoy

 Race
for the CureNCJW Utah Section partners with the Susan G. Komen Foundation in SLC to raise awareness and money for breast cancer research. Usually, we have an event at Sugarhouse Park around Mother's Day, on the Sunday following SLC's Race for the Cure. View our past races in the photo gallery. |
Officer Election  We
hold nominations and elections for the board every two years, in June.
We encourage members to become board members. |
Hiking OutingWe wish to start a hiking club. However, until we have a facilitator for this, we will have monthly hikes June through October. Want to hike or walk in our beautiful area? Contact Rochelle Kaplan for more info or to offer suggestions and help. |
| Membership Brunch  Our
annual membership brunch features panelists on a theme. Past years
have featured local Jewish women artists and scientists, women in
local politics, and directors of local environmental conservation

 Halloween Party for Women's Shelter Each year, NCJW Utah sponsors a Halloween party for SLC's homeless women and their children. Contact Susan Way, our event organizer, at (801) 278-0170 or (801) 598-5866. |

 Hanukah
Luncheon for Seniors In partnership with the JCC, our NCJW section prepares and serves a luncheon for area Jewish seniors. To participate, contact Rochelle Kaplan. |
Shalom/Salaam Tikkun-Olam Project  NCJW
has spearheaded the Shalom/Salaam Tikkun-Olam Christmas Project for

NCJW UT, in January, participates with the Community Action
Partnership (CAP) in its Democracy Day on the Hill. That day, we
hear from speakers, learn how to lobby, eat lunch with legislators
and, with docents, tour the Capitol. While we lunch, participants
talk with legislators about issues and upcoming bills consistent
with NCJW principles. 
NCJW
participates with other local Jewish organizations in this annual
JCC event. We have our own booth with info and sale items. To participate
